El Instituto Latinoamericano para el Desarrollo Ecológico y Sustentable. (ILDES) fue establecido en el 2002 por una cohesión de organizaciones e instituciones alrededor el mundo con la intención de cultivar en Latinoamérica el camino hacia un desarrollo ecológico y sustentable.

We work together for the design and construction of ecological, sustainable human settlements (Ecovillages).

We help existing and future projects that are:

• preserving and restoring the land and
• teaching design courses of permaculture, forest gardening, renewable energy and ecological building in Latin America.

We are a division of the Trusteeship Institute.
